Weight Loss

Medical Weight Loss Program

If you’re concerned about your weight, we can help.

We begin with a thorough assessment which is specified to you and your particular needs.  We evaluate your lifestyle, health, and any medications that might be contributing to your weight gain, provide an extensive body composition analysis, and do blood work to check your thyroid function and blood sugar levels.

Next, we take all the collected information into consideration and work with you to develop a plan to reduce your calorie intake and increase your level of exercise. Throughout the program we support you to help you stay with the plan.

Consultation and Assessment

To be successful, the weight-loss program must be specifically designed for each individual based on their current health condition, body weight, lifestyle habits, and metabolic needs.  In order to maximize your results, our weight loss program incorporates all of these aspects into a weight-loss plan while providing the flexibility needed to fit your lifestyle.

A complete analysis is conducted to detect any underlying physiologic or metabolic issue or medications that may have contributed to weight gain. Sometimes correcting those conditions, i.e. thyroid disease, metabolic syndrome, medication-induced conditions, leads to effective weight loss.

We use a high-tech scale to conduct a body composition analysis (BCA) to determine your basal metabolic rate (BMR), or how many calories your body burns each day, and your body's fat percentage (BMI). Knowing this information allows us to custom-design a program for you, and navigate you through the process of achieving your ideal weight.

Blood Work

Eligibility for participation in the weight loss program is determined by the results of a blood panel evaluation, prior health conditions, and current medications.

Once your blood has been obtained, the program has begun!

However, should a present health condition be found while reviewing the blood sample, you must obtain a written consent to participate in the program from a primary health care provider.

This program provides 2 to 4 Lipotropic and Vitamin B12 injections per month throughout the program. Our injections contain a vitamin and supplement blend which affect the way your body uses fat. They have proven to be highly successful in increasing energy in patients on a low calorie diet.  Lipotropic nutrients enhance liver function and increase the flow of fats and bile from the liver and gallbladder, while Vitamin B supplies fuel to the cells allowing your body to more efficiently bum food intake, that would otherwise be stored as fat. This mixture generally helps people better maintain their diet, helps motivate them to exercise, and increases their physical activity.

All our plans are individualized. We suggest metabolic and nutritional supplements to enhance weight loss and energy levels. In your initial weight loss, we may recommend an appetite suppressant which may be something natural or a traditional prescription.

We will generally offer appetite suppressants to help not only to decrease appetite, but also increases metabolism. This will allow your body to burn off a lot of calories that will otherwise be stored as fat.

Suppressants will be prescribed and dispensed once every 30 days (dependent upon a healthy blood pressure reading).

Meal Plans

Our individualized programs can consist of full or partial meal replacements or custom designed eating plans with regular food.

Our meal replacements are high-grade nutraceuticals which are pharmaceutical grade and produced specifically for our practice. We have a wide variety of foods from breakfast to dinner and everything in between. We have gluten-free and lactose-free products available as well. In addition, any lifestyle or religious observation can be addressed in a customized eating plan.

Hunger can be a natural response to not eating the right amount of food or not eating the right kind of food. However, when someone is overweight, it frequently occurs as a result of impaired food metabolism. This constant hunger can sabotage even the most serious weight loss efforts. WE DO NOT WANT YOU TO BE HUNGRY. Hunger can be combated with a diet that does not cause insulin spikes and subsequent drop in blood sugar. When your body's leptin (leptin is a hormone that reduces appetite) is no longer functioning efficiently, hunger is a frequent result. Over time, as you lose body fat, you will be much more satisfied with healthy, nutritious meals. Being sure that you attain decent levels of protein with every meal is also important to control hunger. We want you to be satisfied, feel good and have energy as well as make this process as easy as possible for you.

Continual check-ups to monitor your progress will be included, however the number of visits required depends on the plan designed for you.

As you come back for your follow up, we track your progress with the BCA scale. Changes are made based on your progress and your lifestyle.

We also offer maintenance packages to assure that you continue to move towards your goal and stay there. We escort you through this journey and beyond to help you in the maintenance phase.

We can provide all the means to achieve your ideal weight, but your commitment (including diet and exercise) is required to obtain the best result!
